Writing Your Theme

writing prompt, writing prompt ednesday, literary journal, literary magazine, online literary journal, online literary magazine, literary press, limping devil press,

Last night I was reading Rimbaud. Illuminations to be exact. He uses the word “opera” several times in his work. It appeared as an adjective, a noun, and a verb. Rimbaud, a bad boy of literature, has said of himself: “je devins un opéra fabuleux (I became a fabulous opera).” He is rather cognizant of “opera” in his work and in himself as a poet.

So here is your assignment, should you chose to accept it:

Is there something, a theme of your own that continues to appear in your writing? What is it? Once you have identified your theme name it and use it boldly in your next piece.
